Guillermo is responsible for the creation and innovation of business solutions for the financial services sector as well as for leading business development for this important vertical. He leverages more than 25 years of experience in several areas, including banking, regulatory compliance, computer forensic services, IT security and risk management. Prior to joining UDT, Guillermo enjoyed a distinguished career that included posts such as CEO of Axxis Solutions and COO of Enterprise Risk Management in addition to having served in various executive leadership positions at Caja Mediterráneo, Banco de Crédito del Perú, and Atlantic Security Bank of Miami. Guillermo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a board member of the South Florida Banking Institute (SFBI), the Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA). Guillermo served as President for South Florida Banking Institute (SFBI) for the 2018-2020 fiscal years. He also is active in The Beacon Council and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. |

Daniel Gaitan Special Agent, Private Sector Coordinator for Miami Division Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent (SA) Daniel Gaitan is the Private Sector Coordinator (PSC) for the Miami Division. In his role as PSC, SA Gaitan strives to protect our nation’s economy and national security by strengthening the FBI’s relationships with the U.S. private sector. SA Gaitan possesses 18 years of extensive FBI investigative experience in Criminal matters, National Security, and International relations. From 2005 through 2008, SA Gaitan was assigned to the Denver Division, Lander, Wyoming field office, where he worked Indian Country Violations to include violent crimes, homicides, crimes against children, and gaming. In 2008, SA Gaitan transferred to Miami Division where he worked violent gangs, narcotics trafficking, and international money laundering. As a member of Miami’s SWAT Team, SA Gaitan gained extensive tactical experience in firearms, close quarter battle, breaching, dignitary protection and security. In 2015, SA Gaitan served as FBI Headquarters Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) assigned to the Directorate of Intelligence, Human Intelligence Operations Section. SA Gaitan managed Confidential Human Source (CHS) recruitment, vetting, and development. From 2017 to 2020, SA Gaitan served as Assistant Legal Attaché located in Mexico City, Mexico. SA Gaitan developed and maintained numerous liaison contacts representing international law enforcement counterparts, international business partners, as well as other government agencies.
